Membership Code of Conduct

Rules & Membership The following are the Membership guidelines and rules of the Chinatown Youth Center

Every person who wishes to attend an event, with the exclusion of Art Hop and possibly other future none music show events, is required to have a membership card. Membership is $1 & good for one year from date of receiving it

Chinatown Youth Center is a center for bringing arts, community, and music together in Fresno's Historic Chinatown. We are a not-for-profit and work under the Chinatown Revitalization non-profit to bring back spirit to Fresno's Chinatown

We can only continue if the following rules are followed

No Alcohol in or around the club
No violence/stage diving in or around the club
No vandalism inside, outside, and to the neighbors of CYC(Injuries, angry neighbors and city counsels close spaces like this)

As a member of the Chinatown Youth Center you agree to respect the rights of others to express themselves. I agree to observe the rules established by the club in the CYC Code of Conduct so that the club may exist and continue serving the community

This membership is good for twelve months from the date this card was received

Fighting

Fighting will not be tolerated. Anyone who instigates conflict will be escorted out of the CYC and banned for a minimum of 1 month. Any further conflict by an individual with past issues will be considered for a permanent ban. This space is completely non violent and looks to protect its members, FIGHTING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED


Member Rules

No vandalism in or out of the club. This includes our neighbors. It hurts our community and relationships within it.

No sexual harassment - respect women and men

No alcohol in or around the CYC. This includes the ally and else where, anyone caught drinking will be asked to leave or the cops will be called to escort you out themselves. Anyone coming to a show drunk will be asked to leave; we don't need trouble or any suspicion anyone is drinking at the CYC during an event.

No drugs in or around the club

No weapons

No racism. Our community is diverse and we respect ALL religions, ethnicity's, and genders

No theft to the CYC or neighbors. We are trying to rebuild a community and there will be no tolerance for this

No outside food/drinks. We can never be sure what you are bringing into the club, we have concessions open, and will have modestly priced food/drinks inside

No littering in or outside. Respect the venue; it takes hard work to keep the CYC alive and our neighbors happy!

No loitering. You're ether in the show or out, there are in's and out's but if you show up you must go inside. Anyone loitering will be asked to leave. This is to protect our members; it's in everyone's best interest

No harassing neighbors! The stores next door and the guy walking down the street! Respect them. Please keep to yourself and other members and do not give away donations to anyone outside the club. Please don't encourage pan handling

Security

The CYC will always have at least one security guard on hand for every event to ensure the security of parked cars and that of members attending
